## Bitcoin needs builders in Asia.
Only a few dozen developers maintain the Bitcoin Core codebase securing a multi-trillion-dollar network. Across Southeast Asia — 700 million people, many living under currency debasement, capital controls, and financial surveillance — that number is close to zero.
Code Orange exists to fix that. Founded by Keypleb — co-founder of Bitcoin Indonesia (40+ monthly meetups across 40 cities, ~55,000 bitcoiners engaged) and Bitcoin House Bali — we run a Bitcoin-only, open-source developer pipeline from a converted mining container in Canggu. Graduates don't just learn about Bitcoin. They build it, run it, review it, and teach it.
All curriculum is free and CC0. Every graduate is a permanent asset for the network.

## Pay-per-request APIs: the L402 flow
We teach and champion ngx_l402 — the open-source nginx module that puts a Lightning paywall on any HTTP API. No accounts, no Stripe, no API keys: the payment receipt is the credential. Step through the protocol:
